What if I need to cancel my participation?
If you wish to cancel your participation for any reason, you must do so in writing (via email).
What is your refund policy?
-
If you cancel 60 days or more from the workshop start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $100 administrative fee and our payment processing fees (e.g., credit card, PayPal, etc.)
-
If you cancel 30-59 days from the workshop start date, we will refund 50% of your registration fee minus our payment processing fees (e.g., credit card, PayPal, etc.)
-
No refund will be given if canceling 29 days or less from the workshop start date.
We cannot make exceptions to our refund policy because our limited group size means an empty place in a workshop is a damaging loss to us, and this is our way of protecting ourselves. You may protect yourself, too, at your own discretion, by purchasing travel insurance.
Is there any likelihood that you would need to cancel the workshop?
If it becomes necessary to cancel, we would do so at our discretion and cannot list here all the potential reasons, although low enrollment would likely be the main reason. In case we cancel we would refund your fees in full. Since you might incur additional expenses, we recommend you buy travel insurance.
Is there any likelihood that you would need to alter the workshop or itinerary?
If we need to alter the workshop or itinerary it would be for a very good reason, such as closed venue access, unforeseen weather restrictions/natural disaster or an unusual situation that a reasonable person would consider a good reason to make a change.

What kind of weather should I prepare for?
The weather in Aveyron can be brisk but not so cold that you would need gloves. It might rain. We recommend you wear layers including a water-repellent windbreaker.
What costs are not included in the workshop fee?
Workshop attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to Rodez.
Any fine print?
Yes. All workshop participants must agree to all the terms and conditions outlined in the FAQs and otherwise stated in the emails, promotional materials and communications issued about this workshop. This includes understanding that you assume legal liability associated with the workshop by the Chateau de Balsac and the program leader, which means you indemnify them and accept all risks and all responsibility for losses or damages you incur as a result of your participation in the workshop. Your payment for this workshop constitutes full agreement to the policies outlined in the FAQ and this waiver, and is as binding as your signature.
Please contact Malana Moberg at malana@chateaubalsac.com with any questions.
