Day 1— Arrival & Grounding

ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at the historic Château de Balsac, you’ll be shown to your room and invited to settle in at your own pace. The château, thoughtfully restored with modern comforts, is set within a peaceful park with gardens, open green spaces, and gentle countryside views.
A light lunch prepared with local ingredients will be served. This is a relaxed moment to meet one another, review the week ahead, and gently arrive, without rush.

EVENING
We gather for an opening circle to set intentions and create a shared sense of presence. The evening unfolds with free time to rest, wander the gardens, or enjoy tea, followed by an unhurried communal dinner. The night is kept quiet, allowing space for rest and personal journaling.
Day 2 — The World of Scent & Sound

MORNING / AFTERNOON

The day begins with gentle yoga, stretching, and breathwork, followed by a nourishing breakfast. The morning continues with a still-life drawing session, focusing on light, observation, and quiet attention.
After lunch and time to rest, we gather for an introductory aromatherapy workshop. Through guided sensory exploration, you’ll create your first personalized roll-on scent blend, working intuitively and without visual cues.
In the afternoon, you’ll be invited into a deeply relaxing singing bowl and sound meditation led by local practitioners Nav and Marcelo, offering a moment of nervous system reset and deep rest.

EVENING

Dinner is served in the château dining room, followed by a quiet evening dedicated to reflection, journaling, or early rest.

Day 2 — Market & Scent Distillery

MORNING / AFTERNOON
After morning yoga and breakfast, we travel to the Rodez farmers market, where you’ll explore local produce, pastries, coffee, and artisan shops, including oil and herbal boutiques.
Lunch is enjoyed at La Maison, a family-run restaurant in Rodez, with a daily-changing menu based on seasonal local ingredients.
In the afternoon, we visit a nearby organic and biodynamic medicinal plant garden. Walking through its spiral garden, you’ll experience the scents and tastes of aromatic plants before learning about traditional distillation methods. You’ll explore hydrosols, herbal teas, infusions, and culinary specialties made on-site.

EVENING

Return to the château for dinner and a gentle evening of rest, reflection, or journaling.
Day 4 — Water, Art & Flow

MORNING / AFTERNOON
Following yoga, stretching, and breakfast, we set out for an excursion to the Muret-le-Château waterfalls. Here, we practice a water sound meditation, followed by plein-air drawing and a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
The afternoon is left intentionally open for rest, swimming, or quiet personal time back at the château.

EVENING

A shared dinner is followed by a calm evening with tea, soft music, or early rest.

DAY 5 — Culture & Creation

MORNING / AFTERNOON
After morning practice and breakfast, we travel to Belcastel, one of France’s Most Beautiful Villages. You’ll explore its medieval streets, riverside paths, and historic château, with time for sketching architectural details or the flowing landscape.
Lunch is enjoyed at the Michelin-starred Le Vieux Pont, before returning to the château for a period of rest in the late afternoon.

EVENING
In the early evening, we gather for an aromatherapy workshop focused on creating room and fabric sprays, followed by dinner. The night unfolds gently with quiet conversation, music, or rest.

Day 6 — Herbs, Cooking & Bonfire

MORNING / AFTERNOON

After morning yoga and breakfast, we meet Laurence Marie, a local nature facilitator and art therapist, for a guided walk focused on identifying common wild edible plants.
Together, you’ll learn how to recognize and work with wild foods, followed by a shared lunch prepared from the plants gathered during the walk.
The afternoon is free for journaling, painting, swimming, or quiet integration time at the château.

EVENING

Our final evening begins with a shared dinner, followed by a bonfire gathering outdoors — a space for music, reflection, laughter, and gentle celebration.

Day 7 — Integration & Farewell

MORNING / DEPARTURE

The retreat concludes with a relaxed breakfast and time to pack. We gather one last time in the garden for a closing circle, followed by a farewell lunch.
Departures are arranged to Rodez Airport or onward destinations, with space to carry the retreat’s rhythm gently back into daily life.
